Frequently Asked Questions
I noticed that even after shaking the bottle very well, the liquids separate into a clear and blue solution. Is this normal?
Yes, the clear & blue color liquids will separate in a minute or two after shaking. The clear liquid is a type of lubricant, the blue color solution is what protects and keeps the blade from oxidizing. It will also separate while in the holder, but this is normal because the razor head (with the blade) should be submerged. Be sure to rinse the razor head thoroughly after each use prior to placing in the soaking solution.
How often should I clean my Hydrovoir Holder?
This depends on how often you shave. Shaving 4-5 times a week empty and replace with a new solution mixture every 2-3 weeks. Fill only to the 'Fill Line'. Be sure to shake and mix the solution prior to filling the holder each time. There should be enough solution in each bottle to do this 2-3 times. One bottle of solution should last 6-9 weeks.
